bummer

It's Friday...that's family fun Friday if you live in our house. I forgot to mention that we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs last week for FFF and it was SO cute (there's a pic below from last week). Here it is a week later and Cale is still talking about baby Brent and laughing about it!



Darren and I thought we'd be really crazy and change it up this week by actually taking the boys out to a movie rather than hitting up the Redbox and Papa John's. We're crazy like that. ;) We went to a 5:15 showing of "Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakqual" and sadly before 6 we had to leave. Darren had a call out for the tactical team (high risk search warrrant on robbery suspects). I wasn't sure how the boys would handle having to leave the movie halfway through it, but they were so good about it. I was bummed, but what else could we do? The boys and I dropped Darren off at home and then went out to dinner and to rent a movie. We got "Night at the Museum 2." We're starting to run out of kid-friendly options...we might have to find something else to do for our family fun Fridays! I think roller skating would be a fun change. Not sure if I can talk D into that though. We'll see.

This is completely unrelated, but today was pajama day at Cale's preschool. I took this pic before taking him. As you can see, he was a bit to into his Star Wars Leapster game to have time to look up. I take what I can get.
