I'm really excited to join the Show Us Where You Live Friday tour of homes that Kelly over at Kelly's Korner started. It's kind of a bloggy Parade of Homes. I've always loved it when people display their homes on blogs as it is such a great way to get fun decorating ideas. The first edition is the kitchen tour (and yes, it is Saturday, not Friday, but goodness the boys have kept me busy and I'm just now getting to it...I'll be on time next week, I promise!) Be sure and look at Kelly's blog for all the links to others kitchens...there are some gorgeous kitchens out there! So, without further a due, welcome to our kitchen....view from breakfast bar
My brother and sister-in-law got me this canister a few years ago. It's my favorite thing in the kitchen.
Thanks for stopping by! Next week will be the living room edition. Neither the kitchen or the living room are my favorite room of the house...Oh, I just can't wait 'til we get to my favorite! You'll have to wait and see what it is. My lips are sealed!

Great kitchen! I love the canister and handmade photo frame.
Love love love your kitchen cabinets! If I had to build a new house I would go crazy about now. They are all so pretty. I really loved your little picture frame that you made. What a sweet idea! Thanks for sharing. Susie~
You have a gorgeous kitchen! So pretty. I'm a mom to all boys, too, but mine are almost grown. 20 and 16. So hard to believe!
I love your kitchen. Your table is great! I assume it is a big square? Also, how did you make the frame? I love it!
I like your ceramic rooster.
Thanks, Julie! I also LOVE the ceramic rooster. My dear friend Julie (I think you might know her ;)) gave it to me. She also gave me another rooster that is going to go above the cabinets. I'm trying to gather enough things to fill up the top of my cabinets before I start placing things up there though! After I put my kitchen pics on I thought I should've done a close up of my rooster and written about how my amazing friend noticed my kitchen theme and brought me her roosters that no longer fit in with her kitchen. I am so blessed to have a great friend like that!
Cute! I'm updating my kitchen this week (new counters and sink on Tuesday, new back splash and faucet today) and I'm SO excited!
