Wow, it's been two years but I think I'll give this a try again. This is for you mom ;)
I guess I'll start with Christmas 2015...
We had a very uneventful Christmas break this year. It was mostly spent close to home and included lots of relaxing (not to mention a few power outages due to weather). We celebrated Christmas with the boys at home on the 23rd, then went to Darren's parents for Christmas Eve and to mom and dad's on Christmas Day. Darren had to work most evenings during the kids break so we didn't get a lot of time with him but tried to make the most of the time we did have. On the rare occasion that he was home we spent our evenings driving around looking at Christmas lights. It's our family's favorite tradition and one I hope to continue for years to come. My mother-in-law mentioned that she couldn't believe Connor still likes to go with us, but I truly believe he enjoys it just as much as we do (in fact, he's the reason I took the boys by myself on the nights D had to work). I hope he'll never get too cool for these special times!
I didn't get many good pictures but here's a peek into Christmas 2015....

After opening gifts we sat down and had a breakfast casserole as a family before the kids spent the morning building Legos before heading to Nina and Poppy's house for a late lunch.

We had a wonderful Christmas with family, but I sure am glad to be settling back into a routine again. I'm excited about 2016. These years are going by WAY too fast and I don't want to look back with regret. I plan to make the most of it!
