When Connor got home from school today, he noticed Cale's sticker and asked "Who did you vote for, Cale?"Cale very seriously answered, "Rockin' Bama."
Connor looked toward me with panic, "mommy....did you?" No.
It should be noted, however, that I did explain to Connor that while I did not vote for "Rockin Bama," we respect the choices of those who did. The beauty of living in America is that we all have the right to vote and we get to be heard. What a boring world this would be if we all thought alike!
Connor voted at school today too. He got to vote on the school's lunch menu for Wednesday. His vote: mac 'n cheese, little smokies, and smiley fries. Where are the veggies? Thank goodness kids only get to vote once every four years!
