When I picked Coby up from Kindergarten this morning, I asked if he'd like to have a picnic in the backyard. He said, "that would be fun, we could have a picnic and a talk." I am glad that he enjoys telling me every single detail about his day (maybe he could teach his daddy a thing or two about communication!).
Not only does he tell me about school, he also tells me frequently that I'm a beautiful girl...what a fine husband he will be one day. Just one problem, he wants to marry me and thinks that I'll be his children's mother. That's been a hard one to explain. How do you explain that to a five year old? I know that one day I'll only wish that he still wanted to marry dear ole mom and since he can't, I'll be lucky if I get a monthly phone call!
Coby and Cale thought they were so funny when they came out with their mismatched shoes. I had asked Coby to help Cale get his shoes before heading outside to play and Coby had the biggest smile on his face when he came into the kitchen!
Mom and Madison came over to play today. Connor and Coby have so much fun with Madison. Cale, well he's another story...he thinks she's alright as long as she doesn't try to play with any toys (whether he's playing with them or not!). Mad is quite capable of taking care of herself though. She is going to be beating up the boys before we know it. She doesn't let anything get in the way of what she wants that's for sure and she is the strongest little girl I've ever seen! Coby and Connor think she is absolutely wonderful and ask to see her everyday. Girls are fun, but truth be told, I am glad I have my boys!
